Keeper Security has launched two new privileged access capabilities, Time-Limited Access, and Self-Destructing Records, to enhance secure credential sharing. Time-Limited Access allows users to share records for a set duration, automatically revoking access once the time period is up. This feature is beneficial for working with contractors or third parties and can be paired with Keeper Secrets Manager to automatically rotate shared credentials. On the other hand, Self-Destructing Records automatically delete after the recipient has viewed the shared record, helping to maintain a clean and secure data environment. These new features aim to provide a higher level of control over data access, enhance security, and make compliance requirements easier to maintain. By limiting access privileges, organizations can reduce their attack surface and mitigate the risk of security incidents.
