Key Findings from the Report

The report reveals that 22.9% of web users in India were attacked by web-borne threats, while 20.1% encountered local threats. Web threats, including malware and social engineering tactics, remain a major concern in the region.

Breakdown of Cyber Threats

In total, Kaspersky blocked over 12 million Internet-borne threats and 16 million local incidents in India during the first quarter of 2024. Social engineering attacks, such as phishing, remain prevalent, manipulating users to disclose sensitive information.
