As cyber threats continue to evolve globally, experts highlight the crucial role that Common Services Centers (CSC) play in disseminating cyber-security knowledge to the last mile. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) Secretary, S Krishnan, emphasizes the importance of security not only in systems but also in behavior, knowledge, and habits. One of the key risks identified is the end user who may overlook the importance of cyber protection, leading to increased vulnerabilities.

During the CSC Cyber Security Conclave 2024, CSC and USI signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cyber-security measures. This partnership aims to bridge different worlds and strengthen the digital landscape. Sanjay Rakesh, MD and CEO-CSC SPV, highlights the establishment of a cyber think tank to foster innovative solutions and create a more user-friendly cyber system.

CSC had launched the ‘Cyber Rakshak’ program in rural and remote areas in collaboration with leading IT infrastructure service provider companies globally. This initiative focuses on equipping women with new technology skills to emerge as cyber security ambassadors. The emphasis on cyber security training and awareness at the grassroots level reflects the importance of addressing cyber threats at every level of society.
