While the district is aware of the posting, district superintendent Jerry Sanders has yet to provide answers.

The BlackSuit website lists various victims’ data files, including critical commentary for some, such as accusations against the Jackson County and Kansas City Police Department. However, there is no demand for ransom or refusal to pay mentioned in the listing for RBB schools. Monroe County government, the victim of a previous BlackSuit attack, did not show up in a search of the latest exploit on the BlackSuit website, with no new updates on the ongoing investigation.

Overall, the incident highlights the increasing threat of ransomware attacks on educational institutions and government entities, showcasing the need for robust cybersecurity measures.
