Data pilfered: St Vincent’s Health exposed in cyber infiltration.

St Vincent’s Health, an aged and healthcare not-for-profit organization, has announced that it experienced a cyber attack on December 19th, resulting in the theft of some data. The organization is currently working with external security experts and government agencies to investigate the incident and determine the extent of the stolen data. As of now, there is no indication that the stolen data has been posted online or that any services provided by St Vincent’s have been affected. The Australian Cyber Security Centre is also involved in the investigation.
