The company’s chairman and CEO, Bipul Sinha, highlighted the increasing cyber threat landscape and the need for more cyber resilience in India. Rubrik has already launched a ransomware recovery warranty in India and is partnering with a cyber insurance provider. Sinha believes that by 2025, cybercrime will be worth $10 trillion, making it the third-largest economy in the world. Rubrik is in talks with several startups in India and is also reportedly planning to go public next year through an IPO.
