McLaren Health Care has confirmed that the recent disruption to its technology was due to a criminal cyber attack. While they have not found any evidence of compromised patient or employee data, some non-emergent appointments, tests, and treatments are being rescheduled as a result. The hospital expressed gratitude for its team members and medical staff who have continued to provide care during these challenging circumstances. The emergency departments are still operating normally, with surgeries and procedures proceeding as scheduled.
