Change Healthcare provides technology for revenue cycle and payment management in the healthcare industry, processing 15 billion transactions annually and reaching a third of U.S. patients. Optum has stated that the incident seems to be contained within Change Healthcare’s platforms and has not affected other segments of UnitedHealth Group.
