  • The European-based SOC enhances threat detection and response capabilities for partners, ensuring compliance with regional regulations and cyber threats.

SonicWall has launched a new Managed Security Services suite specifically designed for European partners, including Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs). This suite is backed by a new European-based 24x7x365 Security Operations Center (SOC) that provides local expertise on regional cyber threats, regulations, and business environments. This localized SOC aims to enhance threat detection and response capabilities for European partners while ensuring compliance with European regulations.

The addition of the European-based SOC complements SonicWall’s existing Managed Extended Detection and Response (MXDR) capabilities, which were introduced earlier in the year. These capabilities offer robust cybersecurity monitoring and response across various attack surfaces, such as firewalls, endpoint protection, antivirus, and cloud threat detection, catering to the needs of MSPs and MSSPs.

According to Matt Neiderman, Cheif Strategy Officer at SonicWall, the company is committed to empowering its partners with modern solutions that will help them grow their businesses. The recent launch of the European-based SOC and Managed Security Services suite further demonstrates SonicWall’s dedication to enhancing partner success in the ever-evolving cybersecurity landscape of Europe.

Spencer Starkey, VP of EMEA at SonicWall, emphasizes the importance of the EU’s cyber-resilience efforts and highlights SonicWall’s alignment with the regulatory reality of the Data Act Related Operations and Activities (DORA). In response to global cyber threats that do not adhere to traditional working hours, SonicWall’s partners can now offer quick and localized response capabilities with the added benefit of EU data residency.

In conclusion, SonicWall’s establishment of the EMEA-based SOC with European data residency reinforces their commitment to equipping partners with local expertise and rapid response capabilities essential for effective client protection in the European cybersecurity landscape. The company’s recent launches of Mfor Capture Client, Sentinel One, and Microsoft Defender further emphasize their dedication to providing partners with cutting-edge tools and resources for success.
