Laouir, under the guidance of Kambiz Ghazinour Naiani, an associate professor and Cybersecurity program director, is working on various research projects, including differential privacy and security concerns with large language models. He has also coauthored a scholarly work titled ‘SLIM-View: Sampling and Private Publishing of Multidimensional Databases,’ which addresses the challenges of handling large amounts of data while maintaining data privacy. The paper introduces a solution called SLIM-View, which offers impressive resource efficiency and privacy protection capabilities.
The Cybersecurity program at SUNY Canton prepares students to assess computer and network security needs, develop security solutions, and manage security device implementations.
