TfL’s urgent cyber attack warning for customers after breach

The organization, responsible for London’s transport network, has called in the NCA and the NCSC to assess the damage caused by the breach. There is currently no evidence of customer data being compromised.

TfL’s chief technology officer, Shashi Verma, stated that measures have been introduced to deal with the incident, and there is no impact on services at the moment. The NCA and the NCSC are working closely with TfL to respond to the incident.

The incident follows a major cyber attack on the NHS in June, where appointments had to be cancelled. The investigation is ongoing, and more information will be provided as it becomes available.
