Membership is voluntary, but applicants must have a substantial UK connection and knowledge of cybersecurity. The initiative will complement the NCSC’s Industry 100 (i100) program, which aims to foster collaboration between the public and private sectors to improve cybersecurity. The NCSC’s efforts come in response to the need for greater messaging around cyber risks and the decline in cyber hygiene practices among UK businesses. Overall, the Cyber League aims to provide a united front against cybersecurity threats and create a more comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity issues.
